# DevPass by LLM Gateway

> DevPass is a flat-price subscription for AI coding tools. One API key unlocks 200+ models across 40+ providers in any OpenAI-compatible coding agent — DevPass Code, Claude Code, opencode, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Continue, and more — with a fixed monthly usage allowance instead of surprise token bills. Once the allowance is used, requests pause by default; users can optionally enable pay-as-you-go overflow and top up a credits balance to keep going at provider rates.

## Notes

- DevPass works with any tool that speaks the OpenAI API format — point it at the gateway base URL.
- Usage allowances are metered at provider list rates; there is no markup on tokens.
- DevPass always smart-routes each request to the best provider; pinning a specific provider (provider-prefixed model ids like openai/gpt-4o) is not available on DevPass — use LLM Gateway's pay-as-you-go API for provider pinning.
